Bob Wright- Community Developer

Bob Wright got hooked on Costa Rica after coming to the Loma Del Mar surf camp in 1998. Many visits to Costa Rica later, he began investing, attracted by the good real estate fundamentals. He was impressed with the quality of Ranchos Las Lomas  location, its proximity to great beaches and waves and the growing market potential of the central Pacific coast.  Bob also owns another 23 lot project known as the Little Finca. Bob lives in the Philadelphia suburbs, 1-1/2 hours from Brigantine, NJ where he surfs his waveski when the water is warm enough.

Bob began his career in real estate in 1974 in the Washington, D.C. area where he graduated from American University. He is a professionally designated appraiser certified in six states (from New York to Virginia) and a licensed real estate broker. His clients, mostly multifamily lenders, have engaged his firm for over 1,700 appraisals and market studies since 1981. They rely on his appraisals as a guideline for financing large apartment properties. He has been successfully investing in multifamily properties since 2002, the largest of which is a 200-unit apartment renovation in Wilkes Barre, PA. He re-developed an 88-unit duplex townhouse renovation project near Atlantic City, NJ.

Freddy spent a few summers in the States teaching water sports at an international camp in North Carolina, and was trained as an EMT. His experience in the States helped him hone his English skills. As Freddy worked on various development projects, he became intrigued by the business of real estate and completed necessary courses to be certified as a real estate broker. He is ideally suited for the marketing and sale of  Ranchos Las Lomas, combining sincere helpfulness and professionalism in his work.

Patrick King Sales associate/onsite manager.

Patrick was born and raised on Vancouver Island Canada. It was here that he developed a love for the ocean and surfing and the desire to travel abroad. It was 1992 only a year out of high school and the thought of a winter surfing adventure throughout Central America with no wetsuit sounded fantastic, it would be a trip that would change the course of his life. The surf that year was great and he decided to come back in 1993 like so many do and settled into the small coastal village of Esterillos Oeste. In order to learn the language he decided he would get a job. It was here in the bar restaurant know as el Barrilito he would meet his future wife who at that time ran the kitchen in the bar that was owned by her aunt and uncle. The rest as they say is

Fast forward almost twenty year’s and Patrick  and his wife are still together only  now they have two boy’s aged eleven and thirteen that can been seen out enjoying the same waves with their dad, a lifestyle Patrick had always dreamed of sharing with his kid’s.

Patrick got his start in Costa Rica real estate around the Esterillos area in his early twenties, always happy to show the new people to the area the great deals that were on offer at that time. In the late 90’s he moved to Malpais where he built a bar and restaurant and continued to sell real estate in that area until 2003 when they accepted an offer on the Restaurant and moved back to Esterillos just in time for the boy’s to start school in mom’s home town. In 2006 he brokered a beautiful farm just off the highway and down the road from playa Bejuco which has now become the residential community know as Ranchos Las Lomas. Patrick had acted as onsite manager and sales agent until January 2014 when the Homeowners Assembly took charge.

Patrick is currently living in Esterillos and has great knowledge of affordable properties in the central pacific.
